Aside from having numerous parks and recreational outdoor attractions, Brisbane also features over 27 kilometers of bike pathways located near and around the Brisbane River. The River itself is a tourist attraction and features many activities including swimming areas and various boating activities.
There are also a variety of climbing activities because of the rock climbing formations and cliffs at Kangaroo Point. These are just some of the attractions in Brisbane. The cultural center of the city is considered an active night life hub and features many quality casinos and lively music centers. Brisbane is also considered to be the music scene capital of Australia. Because of the music, the casinos and the entertainment centers, the city garnered the nickname “Bris-Vegas”.
